About The Voice of Influence

Drawing on 25 years of experience as an international award-winning journalist and broadcaster, Sharon Edwards uses her skills to help executives and business owners create the Voice of Influence.

Over the course of her career with CBC Radio and other high profile broadcasters, Sharon conducted more than three thousand interviews with people from all walks of life; politicians, authors, experts, the famous and the infamous. She has distilled the skills that made her an insightful interviewer into a series of techniques that show clients how to define key messages; develop the best way to present their expertise; and position them as experts in their field.

Sharon coaches her clients on how to make their business case to analysts and investors as well as customers and suppliers. Sharon’s clients include public and private companies from the oil and gas sector, manufacturing and distribution, not for profit organizations and media.

Sharon’s expertise has been recognized with three New York Festivals International Radio Awards and a Canadian ACTRA Award for excellence in interviewing and program hosting.  Sharon also holds a Masters Degree (Distinction) from the University of Bradford, UK in Peace Studies.

She focuses on creating the Voice of Influence to build strong teams, strong leaders and a strong message about the expertise we all have but don’t always leverage at the moment we need it most – when sharing that knowledge with others.
